Ons nationale voël, die kraanvoël -

Ferocious attack donkeys often bray loudly into passing cars before launching the little known chinni-chinkik manoeuvre aka “The Cart”. Here we see the typical prey of the attack donkey, a young biped, braying loudly in defence. Note the donkeys nostrils are flared, taking in the scent and identifying the prey, this is a classic sign that the donkey is “about to cart” and not merely bluffing. The bared molars are also an indication of an attack, these attack donkeys have been known to crush leaves and even branches with these teeth so do not underestimate their apparent bluntness. The best hope for the young prey is rapid acceleration in any direction from the wily quadruped.
